As Manager and Agency owner of the Meridian Newmarket branch, one of Paul’s goal is to provide exceptional service to Meridian members both new and old, as well as to his piers Mortgage Brokers and agents across Ontario.
Paul was formally the CEO and Managing Director of CENTUM One Financial Group Inc., a full service mortgage brokerage company in Newmarket, Ontario. Centum One has over 14 offices and 125 Mortgage Agents throughout Ontario.
As a certified instructor, Paul has taught for various Colleges and Associations throughout Ontario, including Seneca College, Georgian College, OREA College, as well the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association of Ontario (IMBA). Knowing that education is the key to success for any Mortgage Brokers/Agents , Paul has written a number of books including “Ten Steps to Becoming a Successful Mortgage Agent” which was formerly used by IMBA for licensing purposes.
As Past-President and one of the co-founders of the Independent Mortgage Broker’s Association of Ontario (IMBA) with over 1,200 members to date, Paul was instrumental in creating the aforementioned course for mortgage agents at a time when an educational programme was not even required. He also volunteered on the membership and education committee after his term as President.
A well known speaker amongst his piers, he has spoken at numerous venues, including: Las Vegas summit for Financial Planners, Mortgage Summit in Toronto, IMBA International Conference held in Jamaica, Mortgage Brokers Conference in Brisbane, Australia and even as a guest speaker in Beijing China for the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce.
Actively involved in his community, a great deal of time has been devoted to local non-profit organizations including The Family Life Centre, Community Living and Canadian Hearing Society.
Paul recently was awarded the Vocational Service Award from the Newmarket Rotary Club in recognition of high ethical standards and outstanding service & contribution to his community.
